MCAAN

MCAAN is a community-based organisation made up of local volunteers on a journey to change their own behaviour and encourage the City of Melville Council and the State & Federal Governments to support households in making the necessary changes to drive down carbon emissions.

This was a unique project and we eagerly jumped onboard so we could collaborate with passionate citizens determined to share their contribution to one of the most important global issues of our time. They were also excited because it gave them an opportunity to deliver practical tips to the wider community on how they could embrace this lifestyle choice.

It involved multiple location changes that needed tight scheduling, but the process was relatively straightforward since every person we needed to interview lived within a couple of square kilometres of one another. That always makes the day so much easier when the production is contained and you work alongside people who know their subject matter and volunteer to be filmed rather than begrudgingly stepping in front of the camera.

The team we worked with relayed very positive feedback and mentioned it has been a great recruiting tool for their vital quest.
